Pope and Heterosexual sexual abuse

19 July 2008

On July 19, in Sydney Australia, the Pope Benedict XVI apologized Saturday for the sexual abuse of children by Australia's Roman Catholic clergy.

There has been no call by the conservative Anglican Church nor Focus on family in Sydney against the Heterosexual lifestyles even though it is an great abuse of trust and religious sanctity impacting the "Christian Church" itself. This is contrasted with the eagerness of the Anglicans and other denominations to condemn gays many of whom would not even step into a church.

The churches religious hypocrisy is not surprising for even the bible talks of the Pharisees seemingly holy and condeming others but full of skeletons in their closets.

Naturally, for the church, loving and monogamous relationship between the same sex, is far more sinful than any abusive heterosexual relationship.

John Chew and GAFCON

14 July 2008

We keep hearing that the church should be against the culture of the world being defined by action against gays, but the greatest spin masters following the ways of the world to do so are perhaps the Christian Right. Consider the heading in the Christian Post entitiled "Archbishop John Chew 'Increasingly Important' in Anglican Reconciliation" on July 14, 2008,when the UK Telegraph ( there is no such "British Telegraph" as stated in the post) talks about his increasing importance in GAFCON to unite this group and not the Anglican Communian.

Therefore, as GAFCON is the main stumbling block against wider Anglican reconciliation characterized by the group refusal to enter into listening conversation at Lambeth, it follows that the Rev John Chew by uniting GAFCON is making an increasingly important role in wrecking the Anglican reconciliation. Such is the twist of words that make the truth distorted.
